Bad-lead credits

A bad lead goes back on your balance

Report a bad lead within 7 days from the lead email or your account page. We check it and answer within 2 business days.

We credit you when

The phone number is wrong, disconnected or belongs to someone else
The person isn't the homeowner or didn't ask for a quote
The address is outside your towns or the job isn't your trade
It's a duplicate of a lead you already got
You couldn't reach the homeowner (see the process below)

We don't credit when

You talked to the homeowner but didn't win the job
The homeowner hired someone else or changed their mind after talking with you
You didn't try to reach them within 24 hours

If you can't reach the homeowner

You try 3 times in 48 hours (calls, texts or emails), starting within 24 hours of the lead, and log each attempt on the lead.
You tap "Couldn't reach".
We contact the homeowner by email, and by phone if needed. Calls are recorded only with the homeowner's consent, stated at the start of the call.
If they confirm they spoke with you, the lead stands. If they say nobody reached them, or don't answer within 48 hours, the full price goes back on your balance.

FAQ

Is there a contract or monthly fee?

No. You prepay credit and leads come off it. Pause any time.

What happens to credit I don't use?

It stays on your account with no expiry while your account is active. We buy ads in your towns ahead of time, so loaded credit isn't refundable. Exception: if you've claimed $1,000 or more in leads within your first 60 days, you can ask for the unused balance back when you leave. The free first lead and bad-lead credits are account credit only.

Shared or exclusive: which should I pick?

Shared leads cost less but up to 2 other contractors get the same homeowner, so speed matters. Exclusive leads cost more, and you're the only one calling.

How fast do leads arrive?

Within minutes of the homeowner submitting. Homeowners who get called within the first hour book far more often.

Do you do the work or sign contracts with homeowners?

No. Crystafor is a referral service. You quote, contract and do the work directly with the homeowner.

How do homeowners agree to be contacted?

Every form says clearly that up to 3 local contractors will contact them about their project, and they agree before submitting.
